resolved. <br />Commissioner Scurlock felt that perhaps we should wait until <br />after mediation to make a determination in this matter, and <br />Commissioner Bowman agreed that this whole action is out of <br />synchronization and is premature. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously (3-0, <br />Commissioner Bird being absent) deferred any action <br />on this matter until after mediation has occurred. <br />Attorney O'Brien advised that the mediation process requires <br />the County to name a County representative who would be the focal <br />point. The representative won't bind the County or anything, but <br />he will attend all the mediation hearings and come back with`his <br />recommendation.
