Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final September 20, 2016 <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman Flescher, seconded by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />to approve Change Order No.1 with Barth Construction, Inc., final payment and <br />release of retainage in the amount of $27,495.36. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Solari, Vice Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Davis, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br />2. 16-744 Affiliation Agreement between Medical Center Academy and Indian River County <br />Emergency Services District <br />Attachments: Staff Report -Affiliation Agreement <br />Affiliation Agreement MCA & IRCES <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Vice Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve the Affiliation Agreement between the Indian River County Emergency <br />Services District and the Medical Career Academy. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Solari, Vice Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Davis, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br />The Board of Commissioners adjourned the Emergency Services District meeting and reconvened as the <br />Board of Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District. <br />B. Solid Waste Disposal District <br />The Board reconvened as the Board of Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District. Those Minutes <br />will be approved under the next Solid Waste Disposal District meeting. <br />16-767 Amendment No. 1 to Work Order CCNA-2014 WO No. 4 to Geosyntec for One <br />Year of Groundwater Monitoring/Reporting and Related Consulting Services at the <br />Former South Gifford Road Landfill <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Work Order No 4 <br />Chairman Solari asked Administrator Brown to have a strategy to bring the <br />groundwater monitoring/reporting to an end when it comes back to the Board in <br />2017. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman Flescher, seconded by Commissioner Zorc, to <br />approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 1 to CCNA-2014 to <br />Work Order No. 4, authorizing Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. to implement the <br />pre -Remedial Action Plan Modification (RAPM) investigation and finalize the <br />bioremediation design required by the Federal Department of Environmental <br />Protection (FDEP), not to exceed the fee of $29,980.
