Chairman Solari opened the floor for public comments; there were no speakers. <br /> There were no proposed changes to the budget. <br /> ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Flescher, SECONDED by Commissioner O'Bryan, the <br /> Board unanimously approved the millage rate of 3.3602, 4.6% above the rollback rate of <br /> 3.2125, and approved Resolution 2016-088, establishing the tax millage rate to be levied <br /> upon all real and personal taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for Fiscal Year <br /> 2016-2017 for the General Fund. <br /> ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by Vice Chairman Flescher, the <br /> Board unanimously approved the budget in the amount of $81,182,145 and approved <br /> Resolution 2016-089, amending the County Budget Officer's estimates of receipts other than <br /> taxes and of balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 and adopting a final <br /> budget for the General Fund. <br /> MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT (M.S.T.U) (Pages 19-20) <br /> 5:07 p.m. <br /> Chairman Solari announced that the proposed millage rate is 1.0733, 4.4% above rollback <br /> rate of 1.0278.
