Chairman Solari opened the floor for public comments; there were no speakers. There were no proposed changes to the budget. ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Flescher, SECONDED by Commissioner O'Bryan, the Board unanimously approved the millage rate of 3.3602, 4.6% above the rollback rate of 3.2125, and approved Resolution 2016-088, establishing the tax millage rate to be levied upon all real and personal taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 for the General Fund. ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously approved the budget in the amount of $81,182,145 and approved Resolution 2016-089, amending the County Budget Officer's estimates of receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 and adopting a final budget for the General Fund. MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT (M.S.T.U) (Pages 19-20) 5:07 p.m. Chairman Solari announced that the proposed millage rate is 1.0733, 4.4% above rollback rate of 1.0278. ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously approved the millage rate of 1.0733, 4.4% above the rollback rate of 1.0278, and approved Resolution 2016-090, establishing the tax millage rate to be levied upon all real and personal taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2016- 2017 for the Indian River County General Purpose Municipal Service Taxing Unit.
