'JUL 211992 <br />Director Davis advised that if we confirm the number of homes <br />and if we get the rights-of-way, 129th Court could potentially come <br />within the 100 -point score and be eligible for maintenance. He <br />further explained that one of the factors is the number of homes <br />per quarter mile which front that street. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, to deny the request for <br />paving, ask Mrs. Gay to encourage the property <br />owners to donate the rights-of-way, and to direct <br />County staff to recalculate the numerical evaluation <br />criteria warrant score to see if this street should <br />be included on the County road maintenance schedule. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Bowman clarified that 129th <br />Court would -not be paved at this time. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PAVING OF 129TH STREET BETWEEN 79TH AVENUE AND <br />76TH AVENUE IN ROSELAND <br />The Board reviewed memo from Public Works Director Jim Davis <br />dated July 10, 1992: <br />TO: James E. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Special Assessment Paving of 129th Street <br />Between 79th Avenue and 76th Avenue <br />1910 L.F. in Roseland <br />DATE: July 10, 1992 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Laura Lathero-Gay, President of the Roseland Property Owners <br />Association, has submitted a petition for paving and street <br />light improvements for a 1910 L.F. section of 129th Avenue <br />(Powerline Road) in Roseland. Approximately 17 property <br />owners representing 74% of the benefitted area have executed <br />the petition. <br />20 <br />
