Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: July 10, 1992 <br />RE: FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES - FINANCE & <br />ADMINISTRATION POLICY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br />I have been invited to serve as a member of the technical advisory <br />committee of the 1992-93 FAC Finance & Administration Policy <br />Development Committee and request direction from the Board whether <br />the Board would like me to accept the invitation. <br />Being a member would require that I attend the meetings of the <br />committee, which, as indicated in the attached letter, will be October 12 <br />in Orlando, November 9 in Tampa, and early December in Ponte Vedra <br />Beach. <br />The purpose of the committee is to develop legislation to be presented <br />by FAC each year to the Legislature, and the membership would <br />provide an opportunity for the County to have input in drafting <br />legislafion of interest to Indian River County. <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request direction from the Board whether to <br />join as a member of this committee. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bowman, to direct <br />the County Attorney to accept the invitation to <br />serve as a member of the technical advisory <br />committee of the 1992-93 Florida Association of <br />Counties Finance & Administration Policy Development <br />Committee. <br />THE MOTION DIED FOR LACK OF A SECOND <br />39 <br />'JL 21 199; <br />BOOK 1 400 <br />
