RESOLUTION NO. 2014 - <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />FINDING THAT THE SALE OF THE TOWER SITE AT THE <br />OLD COUNTY JAIL IS IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE <br />CITIZENS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />WHEREAS, the County owns a parcel of property located at 1725 17th Avenue in <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is the site of the former County Jail; and <br />and WHEREAS, the property contains a guyed, 150 foot tall communications tower; <br />WHEREAS, the County _has -no use for the tower site in its future communication <br />WHEREAS, the County no longer desires to maintain the property associated <br />with the tower and is willing to forgo future rental payments from its tenant currently <br />located on the tower; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of citizens <br />of Indian River County to sell this property by sealed bid with advanced notice to the <br />.. public; and <br />THEREFORENOWOR COUNTY <br />Q111•6 . #.
