Kafer, Jr., P.E., County Engine <br />SUBJECT: <br />Amendment No. 2 to Indian River County Public Shooting Range <br />Improvements to Skeet & Trap Facility Professional Civil Engineering and <br />Architectural Services Consultant Agreement <br />RFQ No. 2013017 — IRC Project No. 1213B <br />DATE: November 21, 2014 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On March 18, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners approved Amendment No. 1 to the Professional <br />Civil Engineering and Architectural Services Consultant Agreement with Donadio & Associates, <br />Architects, P.A. for the expansion of the Indian River County Public Shooting Range. Amendment No.1, <br />in the amount of $26,805.00, provided for removal of the proposed 300 -yard rifle range and Skeet and <br />Trap Facility from the project to minimize impacts to the wetlands and existing shooting range features, <br />and provided for construction plans and documents for two separate phases of construction, for a total <br />contract price of $131,520.00. The Skeet and Trap Facility is proposed to be constructed in Phase 2. <br />Amendment No. 2 to the original agreement with Donadio & Associates, Architects, P.A. is to provide for <br />permit modifications due to the revised scope of project following Amendment No. 1. Amendment No. 2 <br />is for a lump sum amount of $5,750.00 for a total contract price of $137,270.00. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding in the amount of $5,750.00 is budgeted and available from Impact Fees/Parks/Sporting Clays <br />Course -Skeet Trap, Account #10321072-066510-12001, for a total contract amount of $137,270.00. <br />Under the County's code, all funds collected from public impact fees shall be used for the purpose of <br />capital improvements to public facilities under the jurisdiction of the County and not for maintenance or <br />operations.
