Swan <br />Supervisor of <br />Indian River County <br />December 2, 2014 <br />The Honorable Wesley Davis <br />Chairman, Board of County Commissioners <br />Indian River County <br />1800 27th Street <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />Dear Commissioner Davis: <br />The 2014 Legislature appropriated $2,000,000 from the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) funds to <br />be distributed to Supervisors of Elections based on a formula using the number of active <br />registered voters in each county as of the 2012 General Election's book closing. <br />Enclosed please find a Certificate Regarding Matching Funds. This document certifies that the <br />Indian River County Board of County Commissioners will provide matching funds for the Federal <br />Election Activities Grant for FY 2014 — 2015. The matching funds are 15% of the amount to be <br />received from the state. For Indian River County, the matching fund amount is $3,528.11. <br />In order to receive the Federal Election Activities Funds, the Legislature requires that the <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners certify that the county will match the state <br />funds of $23,520.74 with the 15% county match or $ 3,528.11. 1 have:enclosed the Certificate <br />Regarding Matching Funds for your signature.
