The actual reduction is a reduction in the job value factor from 0.415% to 0.394%, a reduction of <br />5.06%. That change represents a reduction in the building fee for a typical single family home of <br />$50 - $60. Greater but proportional savings will be provided for higher value projects, including <br />commercial projects. <br />Attached is a resolution to formally revise the building permit fee schedule to reflect the 5% <br />reduction described above. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners adopt the attached resolution. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />1.
