IRC Purchasing Division opened the bids on September 9, 2016. <br />This bid will be awarded for an initial one year period and may be renewed for two additional one-year <br />periods, subject to vendor acceptance, satisfactory performance, and staffs determination that a renewal <br />would be in the best interest of the county. <br />BID RESULTS <br />Bldders•Name <br />r Annual Fee P <br />Wetland Solutions, Inc. <br />$32,500.00 <br />Ecotech Consultants, Inc. <br />$34,000.00 <br />Florida Environmental Consulting <br />$52,660.00 <br />The low bidder, Wetland Solutions, Inc. (WSI), was disqualified by the Utilities Department because they <br />noted an exception to the bid. Due to their distance from the site, WSI proposes to conduct maintenance <br />site visits every three (3) weeks, rather than weekly. Weekly site visits are needed to sample the site and <br />adjust water levels in cells, if needed. This was specified in the Invitation to Bid. <br />FUNDING: <br />Funds for this project are derived from the Other Professional Services account in the operating fund. <br />The operating funds are derived from water and sewer sales. Staff also requests that the BCC authorize the Purchasing Manager to renew for up to two one- <br />year extensions subject satisfactory performance and staffs determination that a renewal would be in the <br />best interest of the county. <br />84 <br />
