Zito, Assistant County Administrator <br />Subject: 2016 - Fall and Winter Holiday Schedules for the Indian River County Library <br />System, Aquatic Centers, Sandridge Golf Course, Indian River County Public <br />Shooting Range, Recreation Aquatic Centers, iG Recreation Center and <br />County Parks <br />In observance of the holidays, the County has the following official holiday closures scheduled for <br />the majority of county departments <br />Veteran's Day: Friday, November 11, 2016 <br />Thanksgiving: Thursday & Friday, November 24 and 25, 2016 <br />Christmas Eve & Day: Friday, December 23, 2016 and Monday, December 26, 2016 <br />New Year's Day Monday, January 2, 2017 <br />It is being recommended the following hours be observed, for these specific operations: <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY LIBRARIES: <br />The Main Library is normally open seven days a week and the North County Library is open every <br />day except Sunday. The Brackett and Gifford Libraries are not open on the weekends. During the <br />holidays, the Library System will close on the following dates: <br />Veteran's Day: Friday, November 11, 2016 <br />Thanksgiving: Thursday & Friday, November 24 and 25, 2016 <br />Christmas: Saturday, December 24, 2016 through Monday, December 26, 2016 <br />New Year's Day: Closed Sunday, January 1 and Monday, January 2, 2017 <br />Note: All library on-line information services are available 24/7/365 at www.irclibLM.org. <br />SANDRIDGE GOLF COURSE: <br />Regular hours of operations for the Golf Course Pro Shop are from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm daily.
