SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR PERMIT NO. 14-15 <br />FOR <br />REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING BRIDGE ACROSS LATERAL "G" CANAL AT <br />69TH STREET ALIGNMENT WITH 1VHNIMUM 90" DIAMETER REINFORCED <br />CONCRETE PIPE STRUCTURE <br />(1) This permit is issued based on plans entitled "69th Street Bridge over <br />I.R.F.W.C.D Lateral "G" Canal - I.R.C. Project # 1363", designed, signed and <br />sealed by Christopher J. Kafer, P.E., Dated 07/29/14. <br />(2) The proposed 90" diameter R.C.P. culvert in Lateral "G" Canal shall be <br />installed with a north (upstream) invert of 9.50' (NAVD) elevation and a south <br />(downstream) invert elevation of 9.33' (NAVD). <br />The proposed 32 11 of 72" diameter R.C.P. outfall culvert connection from <br />sub -lateral G-4 (69th Street) canal into proposed minimum 90" diameter R.C.P.' <br />in Lateral "G" canal can be reduced to a minimum 60" diameter R.C.P. <br />(3) <br />(4) Any proposed dewatering plan for construction of subject culvert structure is <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />(A) Drainage within lateral "G" canal and sub -lateral G-4 (69th Street) canal <br />shall be provided and maintained at all times during construction. <br />(B) For Lateral "G" the permittee/contractor may provide a total maximum by- <br />pass pumping capacity of 67,000 gallons per minute on-site and operational (as <br />may be needed) at all times. <br />(C) For sub -lateral G-4 (69th Street) canal the permittee/contractor shall <br />provide a total maximum by-pass pumping capacity of 6,400 gallons per minute <br />on-site and operational (as may be needed) at all times. <br />(D) Any and all proposed dewatering plsns for this project shall be approved in <br />advance of proposed project construction by Indian River Farms Water Control <br />District Superintendent of Operations, David E. Gunter (Phone Number 772- <br />562-2141). <br />(E) Any proposed sheeting, berms, or other temporary blockage within Lateral <br />"G" Canal and sub -lateral G-4 (69th Street) canal shall be coordinated with <br />Superintendent David E. Gunter on a day-to-day basis throughout the <br />construction phase. " <br />(F) In the event a severe rainfall event occurs, or is expected to occur, resulting <br />in canal stage/flow that exceeds the upstream by-pass pumping capacity, the <br />permittee/contractor shall be able to immediately remove all temporary <br />blockages within the canals, and provide a full capacity flow in said canals, as <br />may be required in an emergency condition. <br />J:\IvIEC\SPEC COND-PROVISOS\irfwcd-special cond permit # 14-15.docx <br />
