ORIGINAL I® F UROA-5 IIRST EXTENSION OF v �. <br />CONTRACT AGREEMENT all <br />THIS EXTENSION AND AMENDMENT to CONTRACT AGREEMENT ("Amendment") is entered into <br />as of this 11' day of November, 2014, by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the <br />State of Florida, ("COUNTY"), and FLORIDA ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING, INC. ("CONTRACTOR"). <br />BACKGROUND RECITALS <br />A. The COUNTY and CONTRACTOR entered into an Agreement for the Management of a created <br />wetland treatment/reuse system at the West Regional WWTF on November 1, 2011 (the <br />"Agreement"), in response to Indian River County Bid 2012010. <br />B. Per Article 2 of the Agreement, the initial term of the Agreement was three years. <br />C. Per Article 2 of the Agreement, COUNTY has the option to extend the Agreement for two <br />additional one-year periods. <br />D. Both the COUNTY and CONTRACTOR wish to extend the Agreement for the first of the two <br />available one-year periods. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with the mutual covenants herein contained and other good <br />valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties <br />agree as follows: <br />1. The above background recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein. <br />2. EXTENSION TERM. The County hereby extends the Initial Term set forth in Article 2 of the <br />Agreement until October 31, 2015. <br />3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. <br />CIS <br />
