The Department of Utility Services proposes
to use this Labor Contract to replace the distribution system.
ANALYSIS:
The cost of the labor to replace the 4" water line with new 8"
ductile iron pipe under the Labor Contract is $11,307.34 (see
attached Work Authorization No. 4 with Driveways, Inc.). The pipe,
valves, and fittings will be supplied by the County at a cost of
$12,107.70. In-house engineering, inspection, and administrative
costs are estimated to be $1,500.00.
