hardship. The discretion of the County Administrator in issuing a <br />temporary permit to a business user shall be final, except that in <br />bhe event a temporary permit is not issued by the County <br />Administrator, the business user may appeal to the County <br />Commission for relief from the provisions of this section, at its <br />next regular scheduled meeting. <br />E. Enforcement. <br />(1) Sheriff's officer enforce. Every Sheriff's officer <br />of the County shall, in connection with his duties imposed by law, <br />diligently enforce the provisions of this section. <br />(2) Discontinuance of service and penalty fees. The <br />County Administrator shall have the authority to enforce the <br />provisions of this section by the discontinuance of water service <br />in the event of violation hereof. All water used in violation of <br />a declaration of water shortage shall be billed at three (3) times <br />the regular rate. <br />SECTION 37 <br />WELLS AND LAWN SPRINKLER SYSTEMS <br />A. No cross connections between the County's water <br />supply system and any other water supply system shall be allowed. <br />B. All sprinkler systems using the County's water <br />system as a source shall have a check valve so installed as to <br />prevent back drainage from the sprinkler system into the County <br />water system. <br />C. All residential and commercial sprinkler systems <br />shall be inspected and approved by the County Building Department <br />before initial operation. <br />D. All potable water wells shall be inspected by the <br />County Health Department upon payment of such fee as established <br />by the Board of County Commissioners. Wells shall be installed in <br />accordance with the Florida Safe Water Drinking Act and shall meet <br />the standards outlined in the appropriate DER HRS or St. John's <br />River Water Management District regulations. <br />SECTION 38 <br />PENALTIES <br />Any person, firm or corporation or anyone acting in <br />-27- <br />
