Indian River County Landfill <br />Indian River County <br />10. $amples from the four (4) surface water monitoring sites <br />shall be analyzed as follows: <br />SEMIANNUAL ANALYSIS - dissolved oxygen (field), pH (field), <br />specific conductance (field), temperature (field), turbidity <br />(field), unionized ammonia (NH3), biochemical oxygen demand (5 <br />day), chemical oxygen demand, chlorophyll A, fecal coliform, <br />iron, mercury, nitrate, total dissolved solids, total hardness, <br />total organic carbon, total nitrogen, total phosphates, total <br />suspended solids and the EPA 40 CFR, Part 258, Appendix I <br />parameters. All analyses must use detection limits at or below <br />State Standards; <br />11. Surface water elevations at.sampling locations S-9, S-12, S- <br />13' and S-14 must be measured to the nearest 0.01 foot and <br />reported semiannually unless required more frequently by permit <br />condition. All water level measurements must be made within a <br />one day period. These :easurements must be referenced to NGVD. <br />LEACHATE QUALITY MONITORING <br />12. The site designated for leachate quality testing is L-1. It <br />is listed on Attachment A and shown on Attachment B. <br />13. Samples from the leachate monitoring site shall be analyzed <br />as follows: <br />SEMI-ANNUAL - pH (field), <br />temperature (field), dissolved <br />HCO3, chlorides, iron, mercury, <br />total dissolved solids and the <br />parameters. All analyses must <br />State Standards; <br />specific conductance (field), <br />oxygen (field), bicarbonate as <br />nitrate as N, total ammonia as N, <br />EPA 40 CFR, Part 258, Appendix I <br />use detection limits at or below <br />ANNUALLY - In addition to the semi-annual analyses, <br />CFR, Part 258, Appendix II parameters. <br />MONITORING WELL' REQUIREMENTS <br />the EPA 40 <br />14. Well completion reports for new well installation shall be' <br />submitted to the Department on the attached Ground Water <br />Completion Report t.Farm within thirty (30) . days after <br />installation.
