d <br />B-10 FAMILIARITY WITH CONDITIONS <br />The submission of a proposal for this work will be considered a representation that the Proponent <br />has carefully investigated all conditions which affect, or may in the future affect, the performance <br />of the Work, and that the Proponent is fully informed concerning the conditions to be <br />encountered; the character, quality, and quantity of work to be performed; and the equipment and <br />materials to be furnished; also, that the Proponent is familiar with all Federal, State and County <br />laws and local codes and ordinances which in any way affect the performance of the Work or the <br />materials, equipment, and labor used in the Work. The Contractor shall secure all necessary <br />permits for the construction work at his own expense, except the landfill construction permits <br />which have been obtained by Indian River County. <br />Each Proponent shall visit the Class 1 landfill and completely familiarize himself with site <br />conditions and the ancillary facilities. Proponents may also review engineering reports of prior <br />geological and engineering investigations of the landfill sites, and the construction drawings and <br />other contract documents covering existing site development work and existing and ongoing <br />construction of ancillary facilities at the landfill site.
