Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Contractor shall not be obligated to effect development or <br />perform operations at the Landfills not indicated in the Permit or required by applicable law or <br />provisions of this Contract or any mutually agreeable modifications thereof. <br />ARTICLE 28 - ASSIGNMENTS <br />The Contractor shall not assign any portion of this Contract. Except as may be required under <br />terms of the Performance Bond or Payment Bond, no funds or sums of money due or to become <br />due the Contractor under the Contract may be assigned. <br />ARTICLE 29 - USE OF PREMISES <br />a. The Contractor(s) shall confine his apparatus, the storage of materials and the operations <br />of his workmen to limits indicated by law, ordinances, permits, or written direction of the <br />Director and shall not exceed those established limits in his operations. <br />b. The Contractor(s) shall enforce the Director's instruction regarding signs, advertisements, <br />fires and smoking. <br />ARTICLE 30 - CUTTING, PATCHING AND DIGGING <br />a. The Contractor shall do all cutting, fining or patching of his work that may be required to <br />make its several parts come together properly and fit it to receive or be received by work <br />or other Contractors shown upon or reasonably implied by, the Drawings and <br />Specifications as the Director may direct. <br />b. Any cost brought about by defective or ill-timed work shall be borne by the Contractor <br />responsible, provided that such work was not due to fault by the County. <br />c. No Contractor shall endanger any work of another Contractor by cutting, digging or other <br />means. No Contractor shall cut or alter the Work of any other Contractor without the <br />consent of the Director and the affected Contractor(s). <br />ARTICLE 31- GUARANTEE <br />The Contractor(s) shall guarantee the materials and workmanship against defect due to faulty <br />materials or faulty workmanship or negligence for a period of twelve (12) months following the <br />completion of the Work. <br />ARTICLE 32 - CODES AND STANDARDS <br />Wherever reference is given to codes or standard specifications or other data published by <br />regulating agencies including but not limited National Electrical Codes, Southern or Florida <br />Building Codes, Federal Specifications, ASTM Specifications, various Institute Specifications, <br />etc., it shall be understood that such reference is to the latest edition including addenda published <br />prior to the date of the Contract Documents. <br />GC -17 <br />s <br />000esewa3o47 <br />
