k. Applicable provisions of Title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, <br />as amended, the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act, or the Victims of Crime <br />Act, as appropriate; the provisions of the current edition of the Office of Justice Programs <br />Financial and Administrative Guide for Grants, M7100.1; and all other applicable Federal laws, <br />orders, circulars, or regulations, and assure the compliance of all its Subgrantees/ <br />Subrecipients and contractors. <br />I. Provisions of 28 C.F.R. applicable to grants and cooperative agreements including Part 18, <br />Administrative Review .Procedure; Part 20, Criminal Justice Information Systems; Part 22, <br />Confidentiality of Identifiable Research and Statistical Information; Part 23, Criminal <br />Intelligence Systems Operating Policies; Part 30, Intergovernmental Review of Department of <br />Justice Programs and Activities; Part 42, Nondiscrimination/Equal Employment Opportunity <br />Policies and Procedures; Part 61, Procedures for Implementing the National Environmental <br />Policy Act; Part 63, Floodplain Management and Wetland Protection Procedures; and Federal <br />laws or regulations applicable to Federal Assistance Programs. <br />m. Lead -Based Paint Poison Prevention Act which prohibits the use of lead based paint in <br />construction of rehabilitation or residential structures. <br />n. Energy Policy and Conservation Act and the provisions of the State Energy Conservation Plan <br />adopted pursuant thereto. <br />o. Non-discrimination requirements of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, <br />as amended, or Victims of Crime Act (as appropriate); Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act <br />of 1973, as amended; Subtitle A, Title it of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (1990); <br />Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975; <br />Department of Justice Non -Discrimination Regulations; and Department of Justice regulations <br />on disability discrimination, and assure the compliance of all its Subgrantees/Subrecipients <br />and contractors. <br />p. Provisions of Section 311, P. L. 93-288, and with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 83-352) <br />which, in Title VI of the Act, provides that no person in the United States of America, <br />Grantees/Recipients shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from <br />participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under <br />any program or activity for which the Subgrantee/Subrecipient receives Federal financial <br />assistance and will immediately take any measures necessary to effectuate this agreement. <br />If any real property or structure is provided or improved with the aid of Federal financial <br />assistance extended to the Subgrantee/Subrecipient, this assurance shall obligate the <br />Subgrantee/Subrecipient or in the case of any transfer of such property, any transferee, for <br />the period during which the real property or structure is used for a purpose for which the <br />Federal financial assistance is extended or for another purpose involving the provision of <br />similar services or benefits. <br />q. Provisions of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended which prohibits <br />discrimination on the basis of gender. <br />r. Comprehensive Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Act <br />of 1970, relating to nondiscrimination on the basis of alcohol abuse or alcoholism. <br />s. Provisions of 523 and 527 of the Public Health Service Act of 1912 as amended, relating to <br />confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records. <br />t. Provisions of all appropriate environmental laws, including but not limited to: <br />i. The Clean Air Act of 1955, as amended; <br />ii. The Clean Water Act of 1977, as amended; <br />iii. The Endangered Species Act of 1973; <br />iv. The Intergovernmental Personnel Act of 1970; <br />Attachment "A" <br />page 4 of 5 <br />P79 <br />
