Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes-Final December 20,2016 <br /> Budget Director Michael Smykowski provided background and conditions <br /> pertaining to the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement from November of 2005, and <br /> the changes that have been put in place since that time. <br /> Computer Support Services Director Basil Dancy described the advances in <br /> technology and software structures, and responded to the Board's questions. <br /> John O'Connor, President of the International Association of Firefighters <br /> (IAFF) Local 2201, explained why social media communication would not be <br /> an appropriate use for departmental related information. <br /> Administrator Brown justified why the Fire Rescue Department is requesting <br /> 232 additional licenses. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Commissioner Zorc, <br /> to authorize the expenditure of$513,957.20,and create a Purchase Order to <br /> process the payment to SHI.
