Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final December 20, 2016 <br />Budget Director Michael Smykowski provided background and conditions <br />pertaining to the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement from November of 2005, and <br />the changes that have been put in place since that time. <br />Computer Support Services Director Basil Dancy described the advances in <br />technology and software structures, and responded to the Board's questions. <br />John O'Connor, President of the International Association of Firefighters <br />(IAFF) Local 2201, explained why social media communication would not be <br />an appropriate use for departmental related information. <br />Administrator Brown justified why the Fire Rescue Department is requesting <br />232 additional licenses. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Commissioner Zorc, <br />to authorize the expenditure of $513,957.20, and create a Purchase Order to <br />process the payment to SHI.
