McCoy, AICP <br />Senior Planner, Current'Development <br />DATE: July 24, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: Nicholas Simos' Request for Site Plan Extension <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of August 11, 1992. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />On June 27, 1992, the Planning and Zoning Commission conditionally <br />approved a major site plan application submitted by Computer Design <br />Associates, Inc., on behalf of Nicholas Simos. Conditional approval <br />was given to construct a 24,158 square foot warehouse at 540 2nd <br />Street S.W. <br />Nicholas Simos has requested that an extension to the site plan <br />approval expiration date be granted. Due to adverse economic <br />conditions, Mr. Simos has been unable to construct the warehouse. <br />This project was originally reviewed and approved under the <br />County's old LDR's. Pursuant to Section 23.2(g)(2) of the old <br />County Ordinances, a request for site plan extension was submitted <br />prior to the expiration date of the approved site plan. As <br />provided for in the regulations, the Board of County Commissioners <br />may now act upon this request. <br />4 <br />
