December 7, 2016 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />MORGAN & EKLUND, INC. <br />PROFESSIONAL SURVEY CONSULTANTS <br />Indian River County <br />Attn: Mr. James Gray, Jr. <br />Coastal Engineer <br />1801— 27th Street, Building A <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />RE: Winter 2017 Indian River County Coastal Monitoring Survey; Onshore/Offshore Profiles along <br />FDEP Range Lines R-20 to R-119 (100 Lines) <br />Dear James: <br />Morgan & Eklund, Inc. is pleased to provide you with the following proposal to furnish professional land and <br />hydrographic survey services for the above referenced project. <br />Beach profiles will include R-20 through R-119, a total of 100 (one hundred) beach profile lines. All data <br />collected will be in accordance with the FDEP-approved Physical Monitoring Plan. Morgan & Eklund, Inc. will <br />provide the County with beach profile data in ASCII file format together with AutoCAD drawings signed by the <br />surveyor. The survey will be performed during January/February 2017 with drawings and reports completed in <br />April 2017. <br />Additionally, the landward occurrence of rock outcroppings will be identified along each profile line. <br />In accordance with the scope of work as discussed, l estimate our costs to be as follows: <br />I. Winter 2017 Sector 3 Beach and Dune Restoration Project Post Construction Monitoring <br />Survey (R-30 to R-60) <br />31 Onshore/offshore <br />profile lines @ $550/line $17,050.00 <br />II. Winter 2017 Sector 7 Post Construction Monitoring (R-97 to R-108) <br />12 Onshore/Offshore <br />profile lines @ $550/line $ 6,600.00 <br />III.
