Zito, Assistant County Administrator <br />Date: January 4, 2017 <br />Subject: Approval for Release of Final Payment to Summerlin's Marine Construction, <br />LLC, Bid No. 2016024 — Round Island Riverside Park Boardwalk Replacement <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Board of County Commissioners on July 12, 2016 awarded project and entered into an <br />agreement with Summerlin's Marine Construction, LLC for repair work for boardwalk repairs, <br />decking replacement and replacement of top and intermediate guide rails at Round Island Riverside <br />Park. The contractor has completed the scope of work. <br />FUNDING: <br />The final payment for the boardwalk improvements amounts to $46,300. The total cost of the <br />boardwalk improvements is $92,600. There is $90,000 that will be funded in the gas tax fund <br />account 10921441-066510-16015, which will be reimbursed 100% through an approved Florida <br />Inland Navigation District (FIND) grant upon completion of both the boardwalk improvements and <br />the paving/access component of the Round Island Riverside Park project.
