SECTION 01050 <br /> FIELD ENGINEERING AND LAYOUT <br /> B. The CONTRACTOR shall carefully preserve all control stakes, benchmarks, <br /> reference points and property corners and will be responsible for any mistake <br /> or loss of time caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. If the loss or <br /> disturbance of the stakes or marks cause a delay in the Work, the ; <br /> CONTRACTOR shall have no claim for damages or extension of time. Control <br /> stakes, benchmarks, reference points and property corners disturbed by the <br /> CONTRACTOR's work shall be replaced by a Florida Registered Land Sur- <br /> veyor and Mapper, at the CONTRACTOR's expense. In the event the Owner <br /> must provide the services of the Florida Registered Surveyor and Mapper to <br /> perform this replacement work, the cost of the surveying services will be ; <br /> deducted from any sums due the CONTRACTOR for the work performed under <br /> this Contract. <br /> C.
