Organizational Cooperation for Development, Management, and Maintenance of the <br /> Lagoon Greenway <br /> Similar to the Lagoon Greenway on the western shore of the Lagoon, the Land Trust is <br /> proposing a partnership to develop and manage a multi-use recreational trail at Oyster Bar <br /> Marsh <br /> Three entities —the Indian River Land Trust, Indian River County, and the Indian River <br /> Mosquito Control Distnct have demonstrated their ability to cooperatively and effectively <br /> provide the services needed to promote, manage and maintain the Oyster Bar Marsh Waterfront <br /> Trail through their success with the Lagoon Greenway <br /> Greenwav Partner Agencies <br /> Indian River Land Trust <br /> Indian River County Environmental Lands Program <br /> Indian River Mosquito Control District <br /> The Indian River Land Trust is willing to provide overall promotion. as well as coordination of <br /> the project's development, long-term management and maintenance. Indian River Mosquito <br /> Control is already providing routine maintenance of the dike. Indian River County Parks and <br /> Recreation Department is currently managing garbage pick-up and gate opening/closing at <br /> Round Island, one-half mile south of the proposed project. A memorandum of agreement <br /> between Indian River County and the Indian River Land Trust would be created to establish <br /> specific duties and obligations <br /> 6 <br />
