ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The request has been reviewed by Southern Bell Telephone Company, <br />Florida Power and Light Corporation, Falcon Cable Corporation, <br />Indian River County Utilities Department and the Road & Bridge and <br />Engineering Divisions. Based upon their reviews, it is staff's <br />position that the easement release would have no adverse impact to <br />utilities being supplied to the subject property. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends to the Board, through the adoption of a <br />resolution, release of the common five (5) foot side lot utility <br />easements of Lots 12 & 13, Block 3, Roseland Gardens Subdivision, <br />being the northwesterly five (5) feet of Lot 12, and the <br />southeasterly five (5) feet of Lot 13, according to the plat <br />thereof as recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 25, of the Public Records <br />of Indian River County, Florida. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously (3-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) adopted Resolution 92- <br />152, abandoning certain easements in the Roseland <br />Gardens Subdivision, Lots 12 and 13, Block 3, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-152 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />ABANDONING CERTAIN EASEMENTS IN THE ROSELAND <br />GARDENS SUBDIVISION, LOTS 12 & 13, BLOCK 3, <br />ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREFORE AS RECORDED IN PLAT <br />BOOK 8, PAGE 25, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has easements as described below, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the retention of those easements serves no public <br />purposes, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that: <br />This release of easement is executed by Indian River County, <br />a political subdivision of the State of Florida, whose mailing <br />address is 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960, Grantor, to <br />Martin O'Neill & Ann Louise O'Neill, his wife, their successors in <br />BOOK ®7 PACE 412 <br />SFP ® 11992 <br />
