SEDGWICK CY, KS REFUSES AFFH-RELATED GRANTS <br />Sedgwick County, KS is refusing AFFH related grants. Notice on <br />the (next) cover page commissioners state they are changing <br />policy. That is stronger than issuing a resolution. <br />Sedgwick county is issuing both, giving citizens more time to <br />consider a grant's implications if future commissioners should try <br />to reverse the policy. <br />A county mayor can apply for CDBG grants without going to the <br />commissioners. A document should be drafted to vote on and <br />change that. <br />1IUD officials know that they often change their MTH name and <br />re -name programs that attempt to conceal the fact that AFFH is <br />embedded in their documents.
