To this end, they have requested access to th_ "r IPSS int=rnPt
router that is available at Fire -Rescue Station 13. The wireless is part of the County IT network and
has cybersecurity software and restrictive access to websites. This will be of no cost to the District
and provides a nearly free service to the Historical Society.
The HS is also seeking to reduce their costs for the initial potable water hookup/meter fees and
! monthly recurring costs for the Ranger House. They are requesting to Their waterline on the
District's side of the water meter. Inasmuch as their water use is limited to inside the Ranger
House, most notably the bathroom, I expect this is a de minimis monthly cost.
You may recall from our earlier discussions, the Department of Health authorized the HS to use a
mall; buried wastewater tankfor the Raneer House with a scheduled pumped -out routine; this
was an effort to save the costs of installing a new sewer lift station and piping to the County sewer
system. Again, this was determined on the projected limited use at the site.
A recent traffic accident took down some of the perimeter fence near the Ranger House. Staff is
working with Risk Management and the vehicle insurance company to resolve this concern.
Recurring costs such as lawn maintenance, electric services and housekeeping are solely the expense of
the HS.
Please advise if you have any questions.
r
John
67,-,A -1
