Gray, Jr. <br />Coastal Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Release of Retainage - Work Order No. 1 Morgan & Eklund, Inc. <br />Post Hurricane Matthew Beach Profile Surveys <br />DATE: January 25, 2017 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On October 4, 2016, the Board approved a contract with Morgan & Eklund, Inc. (M&E) for <br />Professional Land Surveying and Mapping Services for a two-year term. The Board amended the <br />contract on October 18, 2016. M&E is the selected County Consultant for professional <br />onshore/offshore hydrographic surveying services. <br />On October 18, 2016, the Board approved Work Order No. 1 to this contract for services related <br />to hydrographic surveying (beach profile) following Hurricane Matthew. Work Order No. 1 <br />totaled $31,500. <br />To date all tasks are 100% complete. The total amount of retainage withheld under Work Order <br />No. 1 is $3,150. <br />M&E is requesting the release of all withheld retainage in the amount of $3,150. <br />FUNDING <br />Local funding for the Work Order No. 1 expenditure was from the Other Contractual Services — <br />Matthew, Account No. 12814472-033490-17001.
