ROAD DIET <br />WEBINAR & LIVE COURSES <br />A roadway reconfiguration known as a Road Diet offers several high- <br />value improvements at a low cost when applied to traditional four -lane <br />undivided highways. In addition to low cost, the primary benefits of a <br />Road Diet include enhanced safety, mobility and access for all road <br />users and a "complete streets" environment to accommodate a variety <br />of transportation modes. <br />Target Audience: All transportation engineers and planners, pedestrian & bicycle and <br />Safe Routes to School program coordinators, local police, fire, EMS and transit <br />personnel, community leaders. <br />To take this course: <br />This is a two-part course: i) the webinar is a prerequisite and 2) a live course at one of <br />three locations. The webinar will take place from 9:30 to ii.00 am.
