Page 2 <br />BCC Agenda Item <br />Sector 3 Beach Restoration <br />March 14, 2017 <br />FUNDING <br />Local funding of Beach Restoration includes a portion of Local Option Tourist Tax Revenue as well <br />as allocation of the One Cent Sales Tax. Funding is budgeted and available for monitoring and for <br />the Sector 3 Beach Restoration project in the Beach Restoration Fund, Sector 3 Post Construction <br />Monitoring Account No.12814472-033490-05054. Additionally, this work order is eligible for <br />50% state cost through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Beach Management <br />Funding Assistance Program. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The recommendation of staff is for the Board to approve Work Order No. 15 to the contract with <br />CB&I Coastal Planning and Engineering Inc. and authorize the Chairman to sign on behalf of the <br />County. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />CB&I Coastal Planning and Engineering, Inc.
