7 /19/ 91(legal) RESO/ Vk / DW /JK <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91- 90 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, BY AND THROUGH ITS BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, ADOPTING A <br />PEACETIME EMERGENCY PLAN FOR INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 252, Florida Statutes, Disaster Preparedness Act, <br />establishes a Division of Emergency Management (DIVISION) and prescribes <br />the powers and responsibilities thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 252, F.S., assigns to the Board of County <br />Commissioners responsibility for disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, <br />and recovery; and <br />WHEREAS, Rule 9-G-6, Florida Administrative Code, requires submission <br />by Indian River County (COUNTY) to the DIVISION of a triennial update of <br />the COUNTY's Peacetime Emergency (PEP) Plans; and <br />WHEREAS, Rule 9-G-6, F.A.C., requires that after determination by <br />the DIVISION that the COUNTY's plan is in compliance, that the COUNTY <br />pass a resolution officially adopting the PEP Plan for Indian River County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the 1991 <br />triennial update of the COUNTY's PEP Plan, as approved by the DIVISION, <br />is hereby adopted. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Fggprt , <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Bowman , and, upon being <br />put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N.
