i <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 045 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE DEPARTMENT <br /> OF UTILITY SERVICES' SCHEDULE OF WATER AND SEWER RATES, <br /> FEES AND OTHER CHARGES, BY AMENDING THE SLUDGE AND <br /> SEPTAGE RATES. <br /> WHEREAS, section 102.10 of the Code of Indian River County provides that rates, fees and <br /> charges adopted by the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (the "Board") may be <br /> adopted by resolution,to the extent permitted by law; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board has previously adopted by resolution certain rates, fees and charges for <br /> services provided by the Department of Utility Services, as set forth in the Schedule of Water and Sewer <br /> Rates,Fees and Other Charges, as amended from time to time("Schedule"); and <br /> WHEREAS,the Board desires to further amend the Schedule, as set forth herein; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,FLORIDA, THAT: <br /> 1. Findings. The above "whereas" clauses are adopted as the findings of the Board, <br /> and are incorporated herein. <br /> 2. Amendment to Schedule of Rates, Fees ,and Charges. The Board hereby <br /> amends the Department of Utility Services' Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other <br /> Charges, by amending the following rates, fees and other charges, which shall go into effect <br /> upon execution of this resolution: <br /> Sludge and Septage Rates (b) <br /> Charge Per 1,000 Gallons (a) $30.8262.55 <br /> Charge Per Wet ton(b) $7—.54 15.00 <br /> One Time Dump Fee for Recreational Vehicles—Per Dump $10.00 <br /> 3. Rates Fees and Other Charges Not Amended to Remain in Full <br /> g Force and <br /> Effect.
