01340 — Submittal of Shop Drawings <br />1.1 SCOPE <br />A. Submit shop drawings, product data and samples as required by or <br />inferred by the Drawings and Specifications. Submittals shall conform to <br />the requirements of Article 6.17 of the General Conditions, Section 00700, <br />and as described in this Section. <br />1.2 SHOP DRAWINGS <br />A. Shop drawings are original drawings, prepared by the CONTRACTOR, a <br />subcontractor, supplier, or distributor, which illustrate some portion of the <br />work; showing fabrication, layout, setting, or erection details. Shop <br />drawings are further defined in Article 6.17, Section 00700. <br />B. Shop drawings shall be prepared by a qualified detailer and shall be <br />identified by reference to sheet and detail numbers on the Contract <br />Drawings. <br />1.3 PRODUCT DATA <br />A. Product data are manufacturer's standard schematic drawings and <br />manufacturer's catalog sheets, brochures, diagrams, schedules, <br />performance charts, illustrations, and other standard descriptive data. <br />Product data are further defined in Article 6.17, Section 00700. <br />B. Modify standard drawings to delete information which is not applicable to <br />the project and supplement them to provide additional information <br />applicable to the project. <br />C.
