G. Construction Site Egress Driveways: Minimize the transport of sediment and soil from <br />the construction site or work area by vehicle wheels. Construct a crushed rock driving <br />surface at the vehicle exit point(s). Locate the site egress driveways a minimum of 25 <br />feet from all drainage inlets or pipes. Provide an area large enough to remove the <br />sediment and soil from vehicle wheels before the vehicle leaves the construction site <br />or work area. Provide wash -down stations as required to wash vehicle tires and retain <br />all washwater on-site. Do not use limerock. <br />H. Rock and Stone for Erosion Control and Pollution Control and Treatment: <br />1. Crushed Limerock: Limerock shall not be used under any circumstance. <br />2. Acceptable Material: FDOT #4 non -calcareous aggregate, washed and meeting <br />the requirements of FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge <br />Construction, Section 901. <br />I. Hay Bales: Hay bales shall not be used. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />A. Design, construct, and maintain the pollution control and treatment system to minimize <br />erosion and capture and remove pollutants from the construction site and from all <br />other areas disturbed by construction activities. <br />B. Apply polyacrylamide in strict accordance with the polyacrylamide <br />manufacturer/supplier's recommendations and specifications. <br />C. REPAIR ALL EROSION DAMAGE — At no additional cost to the OWNER and <br />regardless of the state of completion of the Work, immediately clean all dirt and debris <br />from all pipes and drainage structures; and repair all flooding, washouts, and all other <br />erosion damage to the Work. This responsibility shall not end until Final Acceptance <br />of the Work by the OWNER. Included is damage caused by erosion of any kind (e.g. <br />wind, waves, stormwater runoff, hurricanes, etc.) including Acts of God. Restore all <br />erosion damaged areas to design grades and elevations.
