f .1 1 •4 <br />RESOLUTION 91- 167 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ASKING THE <br />FLORIDA BAR BOARD OF GOVERNORS TO RECONSIDER AND <br />REVERSE ITS DECISION NOT TO SUPPORT THE AMENDMENT <br />OF THE FLORIDA RULES OF JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION <br />COMMITTEE TO REQUIRE THAT LEGAL PLEADINGS BE FILED <br />ON RECYCLED PAPER; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida supports the enhancement of the market <br />for recycled paper; and <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Bar Board of Governors at its May <br />10, 1991, meeting did decline to support the Bar's Florida <br />Rules of Judicial Administration Committee's proposal that <br />the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration be amended to <br />require that legal pleadings be filed on recycled paper; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br />1. The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County asks that the Florida Bar Board of Governors <br />reconsider and reverse its refusal to endorse the Bar's <br />Florida Rules of Judicial Administration Committee's <br />position that the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration <br />be amended to require that legal pleadings be filed on <br />recycled paper. <br />2. This Resolution, when approved and adopted by The <br />Board of County Commissioners, shall become effective upon <br />adoption. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Eggert and seconded by Commissioner <br />Wheeler <br />follows: <br />and, being put to a vote was as <br />Chairman Richard N.
