(EAI) for professional coastal <br />environmental services in Indian River County for a two-year term, 2013-2015. On March 17, 2015, the Board renewed <br />the contract until March 19, 2017. Due to Hurricane Matthew and the associated time constraints on Indian River <br />County staff, a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit a 2017 -forward coastal environmental services contract has not <br />been completed to date. As such, IRC staff will be requesting/recommending our Board provide a onetime 9 -month <br />extension to the current contact with EAI. <br />Please confirm that: <br />a) EAI would like to continue working with Indian River County, and <br />b) EAI agrees to hold the negotiated 2015-2017 rates (contact attached) until expiration of the 9 -month contract <br />extension. <br />in <br />
