r SEP is 19'1 j <br />Attorney Vitunac explained that this is just our standard <br />ordinance creating another street lighting district. <br />Commissioner Scurlock hoped we can find some vehicle to roll <br />all of these street lighting districts into, and Administrator <br />Chandler advised that we are working on it because the list is <br />getting longer and longer. <br />Vice Chairman Bowman opened the Public Hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) adopted Ordinance 92- <br />36, creating the Walker's Glen Street Lighting <br />District. <br />8/4/ 92 C LEGAL) Boe(TPO/b) <br />ORDINANCE 92- 36 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />CREATING THE WALKER'S GLEN STREET LIGHTING <br />DISTRICT UNIT TWO. <br />WHEREAS, the owner's of Walker's Glen Subdivision Unit Two <br />have <br />requested that the <br />County establish a mechanism <br />for providing <br />street <br />lighting service at <br />crucial locations throughout the <br />subdivision; <br />WHEREAS, the Board finds that the creation of a municipal <br />service benefit unit to raise funds through the equitable assessment of <br />property owners throughout the subdivision is the best available means <br />of accomplishing the desired goal; and <br />WHEREAS, . the provision of street lighting in the area will <br />further the safety, health and well-being of all those residing and <br />owning property within the boundaries of the district, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that: <br />28 <br />
