Tuesday, September 15, 1992 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, September 15, <br />1992, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Margaret C. Bowman, Vice <br />Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Don C. Scurlock, Jr. and John W. Tippin. <br />Absent was Chairman Carolyn K. Eggert who was in the hospital. <br />Also present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles <br />P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Vice Chairman Bowman called the meeting to order, and <br />Administrator Chandler led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to officially welcome John Tippin to <br />his first meeting of the County Commission, and Commissioner Tippin <br />expressed his pleasure to be here. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />None <br />PROCLAMATION AND PRESENTATIONS <br />Proclamation - "The Education Foundation of IRC Week" <br />Vice Chairman Bowman read aloud the following proclamation and <br />presented it to Peter Robinson who accepted it on behalf of Debbie <br />Howard and Bill Dingle, who were unavoidably detained. <br />L2SEP 15 1992 soa 87 <br />__ J <br />
