Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address <br />of the bidder on the outside and the words "INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ADMINISTRATION <br />COMPLEX BUILDINGS A & B ROOF REPLACEMENT" and Bid No. 2017040". Bids should <br />be addressed to Purchasing Division, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will <br />be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day <br />specified above, will not be opened or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. 1705 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2017040 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The Project involves the removal and disposal of the existing <br />tile roof system including flashing, sheet metal, and underlayment down to the existing <br />nailable wood substrate for inspection; remove any moisture contaminated, <br />deteriorated, or damaged nailable substrate and insulation as directed by <br />Owner/Architect; and repair any rusted steel deck before installing new replacement <br />materials; mechanically fasten standing seam metal roof panel clips through the <br />insulation system into the structural steel deck and install new standing seam metal roof <br />system; provide new sheet metal flashing and accessories to provide a complete, <br />watertight, 20 -year warrantable roof assembly. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto.
