ISA3 <br />DISTRICT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Emergency Services District Board of Commissioners <br />THROUGH: John King, Director of Emergency Services <br />FROM: Brian Burkeen, Assistant Chief <br />DATE: April 17, 2017 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Amended Property Lease for Temporary Location of Fire Rescue <br />Station No. 7 <br />It is respectfully requested that the information contained herein be given formal consideration by the <br />Emergency Services District Board of Commissioners. <br />DESCRIPTION: <br />On June 23, 2015, the Board approved a property lease with Joseph G. Miller for the temporary <br />location of Fire Rescue Station No. 7. On November 2, 2016, Mr. Miller deeded St. Lucie Tire and <br />Battery to his son, G. Douglas Miller, who will be the new point of contact for the property lease for <br />Fire Rescue Station No. 7. No changes to the lease are requested by either party, with the exception <br />of the Lessor. <br />FUNDING: <br />No funding is required for the approval of the lease amendment. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval and authorization for the Chairman to execute the lease amendment. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Two Original Copies of the amendment to the lease. <br />P243 <br />
