<br />Improvement District, which was an extremely innovative way that Mr. Walt Disney chose to create
<br />what would become the world's largest theme park. Then, you will board a bus for a guided, behind -
<br />the -scenes tour of "the busiest place in America" and learn how the District efficiently manages all the
<br />needs of its largest tenant: Walt Disney World! Besides four theme parks, two water parks, one sports
<br />complex, 40,000 hotel rooms and hundreds of shops and restaurants, the District contains over 167
<br />miles of roads, 67 miles of waterways, a state of the art environmental laboratory, an electric power -
<br />generating facility, a water treatment facility and an incredible recycling center! Sign up for the tour

<br />A. FLORIDA'S ENVIRONMENT, WATER POLICY, THE 2016 LEGISLATURE AND BEYOND Absolutely
<br />the most current and reliable information available on what the 2016 Legislature passed (or
<br />considered but failed to pass) and why; assessment of Florida's changing political landscape with
<br />respect to environmental and water policy issues; comprehensive preview of what's expected with
<br />respect to implementation of 2016 legislation with a look ahead to the 2017 session and beyond;

<br />B. FDEP REGULATORY AND POLICY UPDATE Always a timely and useful course to provide timely
<br />updates on the most current information and activities with the Department of Environmental

<br />rules and policies recently adopted or under development and related implementation strategies
<br />within both Tallahassee and District offices; key/practical tips for all private/public regulated interests;

<br />planning; adoption and implementation of MFLs; integration of Florida Forever work plans with WMD
<br />land acquisition and management programs; ERPs, watershed planning, secondary and cumulative

<br />limitations; monitoring; agency enforcement of permit conditions; fines and other penalties; legal and
<br />ethical considerations; other emerging trends and issues including legislative review of agency rules
