ORDINANCE NO. 2017- 006 <br /> 4. Any user placing or installing any structure or object on County utility poles or other <br /> equipment or structures within the right-of-way shall ensure that such structure or object <br /> has a plaque identifying the structure or object, the owner and the owner's contact <br /> information, and said plaque shall not exceed 0.25 square feet. No signage shall be <br /> allowed. <br /> 5. All wiring and fiber for any structure or object on County utility poles or other <br /> equipment or structures within the right-of-way shall be concealed within the support <br /> structure and all conduit, wiring and fiber shall be buried between structures and/or <br /> structures and ground mounted cabinets. All service lines (e.q. electric lines) to the <br /> support structure must also be buried unless service lines in the area of the support <br /> structure are aerial. In that event, service lines to the structure or object may also be <br /> aerial, except for any service drop crossing a street or roadway which would need to be <br /> bored and placed under such street or roadway. <br /> 6. Structures or object on County utility poles or other equipment or structures within <br /> the right-of-way shall be designed to blend into the surrounding environment and <br /> complement existing streetscape elements through the use of color, camouflaging and <br /> architectural treatment. <br /> 7. Any user submitting documentation for placing or installing any structure or object on <br /> County utility poles or other equipment or structures within the right-of-way, must include <br /> in the submitted documentation structural analysis and wind load calculations prepared <br /> by an engineer registered in the State of Florida to practice professional structural <br /> engineering. <br /> 8. If at any time, any user placing or installing any structure or object on County utility <br /> poles or other equipment or structures within the right-of-way, or any structure or object <br /> on County utility poles or other equipment or structures within the right-of-way, is not in <br /> compliance with the provisions of this section, the structure or object shall be deemed <br /> abandoned and shall be subject to immediate removal per section 312.13. <br /> Section 3. Codification. It is the intention of the Board of County Commissioners that the <br /> provision of this ordinance shall become and be made part of the Indian River County Code, <br /> and that the sections of this ordinance may be renumbered or re-lettered and the word <br /> ordinance may be changed to section, article or such other appropriate word or phrase in order <br /> to accomplish such intention. <br /> Section 4. Severability. If any part of this ordinance is held to be invalid or unconstitutional <br /> by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this ordinance shall not be affected by <br /> such holding and shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> 5 <br />
