Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final May 16, 2017 <br />notifying benefitting property owners, preparation of assessment roll and the <br />necessary resolutions; (6) direct staff to hold the necessary public meetings for <br />property owners and interested parties; and (7) approve the sample agreement. <br />The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 4- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, and <br />Commissioner Zorc <br />Nay: 1 - Commissioner Solari <br />13. COUNTY ATTORNEY MATTERS <br />13.A. 17-0488 Demolition Liens <br />Recommended Action: The County Attorney's Office recommends the Chairman allow each party in <br />interest for the property to address the Commission and be heard on the amount of <br />the proposed lien concerning the property. Following any comments, staff <br />recommends approval of the lien amounts and authorization for the Chairman to <br />sign each lien for recordation in the public records. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Demario / Yorker lien and itemization <br />Williams lien and itemization <br />Cooper lien and itemization <br />Deputy County Attorney Bill DeBraal was present to answer any questions from <br />the Board, and supported staffs recommendation to file a lien against the properties <br />located at 4795 32nd Avenue, 529 20th Street SW, and 2385 I Ith Court SW. <br />Vice Chairman O'Bryan asked if there were any citizens in the audience who <br />wished to speak; there were none. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner Solari, to <br />approve the lien amounts as follows: (1) for Lots 12 and 13, Block 9, Smith Plaza <br />Subdivision, $5,701.42; (2) for property at 529 20th Street SW, Lot 26, Block 28, Vero <br />Beach Highlands Unit 2, $5,755.80; and (3) for property at 2385 11th Court S.W., Lot <br />23, Block 118, Unit 5 of The Vero Beach Highlands, $6,270.13; and authorized the <br />Chairman to execute each lien for recordation in the public records. The motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Solari, and Commissioner Zorc <br />13.13. 17-0511 Agreement for On -The -Job Training with the Arc of Indian River County, Inc. <br />Recommended Action: The County Attorney recommends that the Board approve and authorize the <br />Chairman to sign the Agreement for On -The -Job Training Between Indian River <br />County and The Arc of Indian River County, Inc. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 16 <br />
