OMB Director Joe Baird next read aloud the entire proposed <br />Resolution for the General Fund, which establishes a Budget for the <br />General Fund in the amount of $37,994,105 for fiscal year 1992- <br />1993. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird; the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) adopted Resolution 92- <br />164, approving a budget for the General Fund in the <br />amount of $37,994,105 for fiscal year 1992-1993. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-j 64 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING THE COUNTY BUDGET OFFICER'S ESTIMATES OF <br />RECEIPTS OTHER THAN'TAXES AND OF BALANCES TO BE <br />BROUGHT FORWARD FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93 AND <br />ADOPTING A FINAL BUDGET FOR THE GENERAL FUND. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County has ascertained <br />the needs and the fiscal policy of the Board of County Commissioners for the <br />ensuing fiscal year and did prepare and present to the Board a tentative <br />budget for fiscal year 1992-93 including all estimates of receipts, taxes to be <br />levied, and balances expected to be brought forward and all estimated <br />expenditures, reserves, and balances to be carried over at the end of the <br />year; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County <br />did examine the tentative budget and held public hearings, pursuant to law, <br />to consider input from the citizens of Indian River County with respect to <br />taxes to be levied and the amounts and the use of money derived from the <br />levy of taxes, <br />13 <br />BooK 87 ?*E58,8 <br />SEP 15199 <br />
