EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />1992/93 <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />1. Amount of millage reflected on TRIM notices is 2.2851 . <br />2. Our proposed millage of 2,2851 - a new District - Rolled <br />Back Millage does not apply <br />3. The county proposed Emergency Services District Budget is <br />$11.127,068. Current year comparable (North County Fire, <br />South County Fire, West County Fire and ALS) is $10,381,692, <br />a $745,376 increase. <br />4. HIGHLIGHTS• - <br />A. Less Cash Forward than anticipated ($790,000 <br />Anticipated - $422,620 Proposed = $367,390 Less) <br />B. Employee raise money of $481,959 (Fire - <br />$350,155 and ALS $131,804) <br />C. Two (2) new ambulances - $120,000 <br />D. P.C. system of $23,800 <br />Administrator Chandler announced that this is a new taxing <br />district, effective October 1, 1992. It was approved by referendum <br />in March, 1990. The total proposed budget for the Emergency <br />Services District is $11,127,068. The proposed millage rate is <br />2.2851. Inasmuch as this is a new district, roll back is not <br />applicable. He wished to point out that the total proposed budget <br />is $962,000 less than had been projected and presented to the <br />voters, and it is .14 less in millage rate than had been projected <br />and presented to the voters. <br />The Vice Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) adopted Resolution 92- <br />170, establishing a tax millage rate of 2.2851 for <br />Emergency Services District for FY 1992-93. <br />28 <br />SEP 151992 <br />Boa 7 'Pv <br />
