Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final June 13, 2017 <br />confirmed that the all -natural process used is chemical free; therefore, the water <br />from the Lagoon could be used for other reserve needs, as well. Mr. Taylor <br />explained that a spreadsheet would be sent to the Board in the near future, <br />containing a wide range of water treatment data from the initial water collection. <br />Chairman Flescher sought and received information regarding the November 2016 <br />initial 1500 gallon water collection, as well as the patent details and design <br />specifications for the mobile unit being built specifically for this upcoming, <br />proof -of -concept project. He clarified that the Pilot Project was being done at no <br />cost to the taxpayer, as Greenfield Resources has offered their services. <br />Greenfield Resources Field Engineer Rob Jones, 1307 Rankin Dr., Troy, Michigan, <br />answered questions regarding the power source required for the mobile unit, and <br />pointed out that they were currently working on ways to reduce the energy input. <br />No Action Taken or Required <br />5.B. 17-0556 Presentation of Proclamation Designating June 19 through June 25, 2017 as <br />Amateur Radio Week <br />Recommended Action: Read and Presented <br />Attachments: Proclamation <br />Commissioner Solari presented the Proclamation to members of the Vero Beach <br />Amateur Radio Club, as they were recognized for the important role of providing <br />communication assistance whenever the need arises. <br />Read and Presented <br />6.
