Gray, Jr. <br />Coastal Engineer <br />SUBJECT: <br />G-' <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />(INFORMATIONAL) <br />Notice of 2nd Scheduled Public Meeting to discuss beach management <br />strategies contained within the forthcoming update to the County's <br />Beach Preservation Plan <br />DATE: June 25, 2014 <br />It is requested that the following information be given formal consideration by the Board of <br />County Commissioners during the regularly scheduled meeting on July 8, 2014. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Indian River County is currently updating the County Beach Preservation Plan (BPP). In an effort <br />to keep the public informed staff intends to conduct two (2) public meetings. The first public <br />meeting was held on December 18, 2013 and explained the goals and objectives of the BPP <br />update and solicited public input on potential beach management strategies. The second public <br />meeting will be held following development of the beach management strategies and completion <br />of coastal numerical modeling.
