RESOLUTION NO. 2017 - 088 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING <br /> THE PROPER COUNTY OFFICIALS TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION IN <br /> SUPPORT OF THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> TO MANAGE, CONSTRUCT, AND DELIVER A FOUR LANE DIVIDED <br /> ROADWAY AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS TO CR510 FROM 58th <br /> AVENUE TO US 1 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM BULLETIN 15-03 IN <br /> COMPLIANCE WITH THE POLICY FOR PROJECTS NOT ON A <br /> ROADWAY WITHIN THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM WITHIN THE <br /> LOCAL AGENCY'S RIGHT-OF-WAY/LOCAL JURISDICTION AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, FDOT is authorized by Florida Statutes and Federal funding <br /> provisions to undertake projects within the geographical limits of Indian River County; and <br /> WHEREAS, those improvements are being managed by the FDOT more <br /> particularly described as CR510 from 58th Avenue to US 1, which involves the design, <br /> acquisition of rights-of-way, construction of a four-lane divided roadway, drainage <br /> improvements, reconstruction/relocation of existing roadways, sidewalks, curb ramps, <br /> pedestrian crossings, and other related improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County is in support of the improvements to CR510 providing a <br /> four-lane divided roadway from east of US 1 to CR512; and <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution to endorse FDOT's delivery of said Project within the local <br /> agency's right of way/local jurisdiction is required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br /> 1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br /> hereby supports the Florida Department of Transportation to manage, construct and <br /> deliver, CR510 from 58th Avenue to US 1, which involves the acquisition of rights-of-way, <br /> construction of a • four-lane divided roadway, drainage improvements, <br /> reconstruction/relocation of existing roadways, sidewalks, curb ramps, pedestrian <br /> crossings, and other related improvements. <br /> 2. The County Attorney shall review and approve as to form and legal sufficiency all <br /> documents prior to their execution by the proper County officials. <br /> 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon final passage. <br />
