Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address of the bidder on the outside and the words "Go -Line Bus Turn -Off CR 510 (90t1 Avenue) and Bid No. 2017060". Bids should be addressed to Purchasing Division, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day specified above, will not be opened or considered. INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -1715 INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2017060 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of site work for the construction of the North County Bus Hub. The site work includes earthwork, pavement, concrete bus shelter pads, sidewalk reconstruction, stormwater pipe installation, striping and signage necessary for the project. All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. All other communications concerning this bid shall be directed to IRC Purchasing Division at purchasing(a)-ircgov.com. All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners.
